Chun Hean (Nicholas) Thong is a Malaysian student at Wells International College studying a Diploma of Hospitality Management. Nicholas hopes to open his own business and is currently working on a project that aims to connect restaurants to the community by providing local charities with excess food from hospitality venues. ABOUT THE AWARDS The NSW International Education Awards recognise the outstanding contributions international students make to communities in NSW and celebrate excellence in international student community engagement. In 2022, 220,000 international students enrolled in courses with NSW’s excellent education institutions, helping to make NSW the vibrant, multicultural and dynamic place that it is.
