Was she pushed or did she jump Along the corner of Maria Clara and Bumatay Streets in Mandaluyong City, a CCTV camera caught something out of the ordinary last Saturday. It can be seen in the video that a young girl, probably in her teens, fell out of a luxury car while the vehicle was still moving. The Toyota Camry was seen moving slowly along the corner. As the car was about to stop briefly, a young girl fell out of the front right door. It is yet to be known if she found the corner a chance to escape, or the car purposedly halt for a new seconds to push the girl out of the car. A guard from a nearby building saw her as she was asking for help. Other witnesses say that she was able to tell them parts of what happened. They said that the girl was only 17 years old, a minor at that, and was working in an eatery. The girl said that she was waiting for a ride home around 6:00 a.m., when a Toyota Camry pulled in front of her, with the foreigner driver asking for directions. The foreigner was supposedly looking for the closest remittance center for he was going to get some money sent to him. As she was leaning a little forward, she claimed that the driver pulled her into the car. The driver then rode in circles to buy time trying to molest her. She tried to fight but was overpowered by the man and eventually lost her clothes to him. She was stripped naked but still trying to fight her way out of the car. After some time, around 6:47 a.m., the car is seen close to a stop when the victim fell out of the car. The Mandaluyong City police’s women’s desk is conducting an investigation on who the perp was, and what else could’ve happened inside the car. The girl is too traumatized to speak at the moment making it harder for the police to investigate. She is now with her family but still has a hard time accepting what has happened to her. Hopefully, the CCTV footage can shed some light on the case. Police are hoping that through the footage, they will be able to identify the plate number, and eventually catch the perpetrator.
