When her daughter Shianna was born, LaKesha Wilson was told Shianna may not walk or have the ability to move her arm. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy and brachial plexus palsy, Shianna underwent multiple surgeries as a young child. Throughout her life, Shianna has worked hard to accomplish her goals, gaining strength and motion – even taking dance classes. “Seeing how confident she is, I know people can do anything they set their mind to,” her mother said.
