About Lolita's Nut Bar by Dino Salvador Pili Bars. These homemade pili tarts have been our family dessert for generations. Requested by our relatives and friends as gifts for their birthdays, Christmas, and other occasions, we decided to put this into business. It started with our grandma, Lolita Salvador. We would usually go to their house in Manila and my sisters and I would watch as her workers do their magic. I have always been enticed by the sweetness of its aroma while the workers would mix the nuts and the milk. She then passed it down to my mother. She made it into a part time job/ business. My mom went to the US, so my sister took over. At that time, I've been assisting already with the delivery and the buying of raw materials. Foodies would love this product first because it's unique. People would usually say it's like a yema. But once they actually taste it, sometimes they would finish a whole pack without them realizing it. Simply put, they kept coming back for more.
